‘t Rinket offers a work placement to 35 clients each day. One of the primary goals is to teach them skills which can be useful for activities within the activity centre of foundation ‘De Zijlen’, but also for within the society. Due to this clients get proper jobs frequently. ‘t Rinket is located in a new building in Zuidhorn, which is close to city hall, train/bus station, the police-station and within walking distance of the city centre. ‘t Rinket has a varied offer of activities, on the top floor you can find the clients for the gift shop. Clients on the main floor make candles and soap. Art studio ‘t Rinket is on this floor too, the clients make beautiful paintings to the accompaniment of regular artists. The clients have the possibility to meet during breaks in the canteen. There are also activities for in the canteen, like serving coffee and tea and setting the tables.
