Foundation Talant has several work locations and ways to spent the day across Friesland, mostly in the city centre. Children can visit the child day cares. Their development will be watched closely. Adults have the possibility to work in a shop, loan of art, a children’s petting zoo or in the business industry. Some adults would like to find a job, we will help them to find one. Others will ask for a more creative way of spending their days. It’s often aimed at stimulating the senses, such as feel or smell. How frequently someone goes to work or spends the day, depends on the person itself. It can range from a few hours to nine day parts a week. There is always professional support, as much or as little as they need. Art studio Bascule Art is housed above the gallery/shop in the centre of Sneek. There are 15 artists working at the art studio. Artists have the possibility to work with textile in another part of the studio.
