‘Visio Atelier & Arthotheek Tast’ is located in the shopping mall of Hoogeveen. A beautiful and spacious art studio where adults with multiplied disabilities have the opportunity to work 3 days a week. There is serenity in the conveniently arranged space of the art studio, that’s really important if you can’t see properly or if you’re blind. Due to this clients have the possibility to work concentrated. They developed a special working method for these artists, most of the work is made on a base of feeling because they can’t see well. An artist will use a theme and will work with this theme for a whole year. This could be with sculptures or paintings and drawings. Every artist has his/her own table to work on, the attendants, with a creative background, will help them by talking about the progress. And also when they can’t continue their work because of loss of inspiration. With this individual and stimulating approach artists will put their own ideas in a piece, and you will get an authentic work of art. Because of this approach they will develop themselves and get more independent and confident about themselves.
