Beautiful People is part of the Beautiful People Foundation in which more than 55 Arts Studio's are connected. These Art Studio's are located the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and Dubai. People with intellectual disabilities work in these workshops led by professional artists and professionals from the health care. The majority of the Art Studio's are part of the organizational department daycare for the mentally handicapped. Some of the Art Studio's arise out of private initiative. The Artclub aims for more national and international recognition and awareness for these Art Studio's. Therefore The Artclub organizes competitions of many kinds for all connected Art Studio's. For the time being The Artclub is confined by so-called flat art: paintings and drawings. The competitions always have a certain theme and are often issued in conjunction with and on behalf of a client of the larger coffee company Beautiful People. The paintings are purchased by the Beautiful People Foundation. Together with the purchase Beautiful People also arranges the image rights. The paintings purchased by the Foundation can be published on a voting website, other websites like www.beautifulpeople.nl, in brochures, flyers, booklets, on cups and glasses, on labels, on flags, on packing, on our Beautiful People coffee packages, on our coffee machines, on some coca-cola soda machines, as a logo or as an illustration in books and magazines. Thus the art of these beautiful people will be more and more known and appreciated. On occasion The Artclub organizes events where the winners of the competitions are honored. This yields a lot of name recognition. Al together there is a lot of publicity through national and regional media, newspapers, magazines, management journals, on websites and in the brochures of many major Beautiful People customers.
