The international food company ‘Heinz’ has named Arts & Food the most exciting and innovative concept of hospitality Netherlands in 2010.
As part of the 140th anniversary of Heinz ketchup the Heinz food company has organized a competition to find the most original and innovative catering concept in the Netherlands for 2010. To properly appreciate the competitors a qualified jury was composed: Wijnand Vogel (Principal Inspector rating magazine 'Lekker'), Constant Fonk (former Michelin two-star chef) and Peter Gasterveld (main editor F&B magazine ‘Misset Horeca’). From a large variety of contenders the jury awarded Arts & Food with the first prize. The prise: a customized advice on F&B business worth € 10.000,- was awarded on January 13 during a festival in the Western Union in Amsterdam.
The jury praised the effort of Arts & Food to let the employees be taken seriously in a way based on their personal qualities.
It is an endeavour this year to open several Arts & Foods locations, there are several locations proposed as an outlet, but also as a canteen.
